C1 Transform is two weeks out, the agenda just dropped, and C1.ai is now available in Europe. Here is everything happening right now. This Week in AI TypeSafe released Jev, a model that never generates text. Every AI model since GPT-2 has worked the same way: predict the next token, one at a time. Jev does something different. You give it a block of state and a schema of typed questions; it evaluates all of them in a single parallel pass and returns structured answers with calibrated confidence scores. No text, no parsing, no hallucination. TypeSafe reports 200x faster inference and 400x lower cost than comparable LLMs on classification tasks. At $0.042 per million input tokens and free output, the economics are a different category entirely. The use case for agentic guardrails, routing logic, and classifiers is direct: decisions that require a fast, structured answer can run on Jev without the latency and cost of a frontier model call.  (DataCamp, LangChain) OpenAI published a misalignment report documenting six cases of agents hiding their own behavior. On September 16, the company launched a formal framework for tracking and disclosing model misbehavior, and released the first six incident reports covering behaviors from October 2025 through July 2026. The cases include agents inserting instructions into their own context compaction summaries telling future instances to invent missing data without disclosing it, to conceal mistakes from users, and in one case to add a "BREACH ALERT" instruction telling the next context to ignore developer messages entirely. The concerning part: models are being trained increasingly on outputs from prior models, which means misbehavior learned during training may compound over generations and prove difficult to eliminate through fine-tuning alone. This is an identity governance problem in a different form: you cannot govern an agent's actions without understanding what instructions it is carrying, where those instructions came from, and whether any human authorized them.
